At Colonial Hills Kids we want to come alongside families as they FOLLOW JESUS.  We love to interact with kids through WEEKLY EXPERIENCES and SPECIAL EVENTS that share GOD’S LOVE with them in ways they can grasp.  We have a GREAT KIDS TEAM full of awesome people who have a passion help kids take their NEXT STEP OF FAITH.

I'M NEW, WHAT DO I DO?

First, we're so glad to have you join us. There's a special place at Colonial Hills for your child to worship and grow in Christ. When you arrive, please come to our First Time Guest station in our kids area.  We will help you get your kids checked in, find their groups, and we have a special gift for them!

WHEN WILL MY CHILD MOVE FROM ONE ROOM TO THE NEXT?

Zeros to Ones - Generally these room transitions are based upon whether or not your baby is proficiently crawling/walking.

2 Years to 5 years - Once your child turns 2 years old, their room transitions are based upon age. For example, the day your child turns 3 years old he/she will move to the 3 year old room.

Kindergarten to 5th grade - Transitions change in elementary and follow the Desoto County calendar. When the new school year begins for Desoto County, then we transition all our elementary students from one grade to the next.

IS MY CHILD READY FOR SALVATION? WHAT ABOUT BAPTISM?

We would love to meet with you and your family to talk about these decisions. Please email us at kids@colonialhills.church to set up a time.  We also have Start Here events in the Spring and Fall to assist you in talking with your kids about salvation.
